if you have any children get their names put on to remind you of a reason to stay clean. otherwise if you don’t have kids how about another person who is special to you or who helped you through this battle. a chinese symbol for life would be cool since you actually will have one now. good luck and props to you for beating addiction!!!!

you should get something important to you, perhaps something that stopped you from giving into the addiction.
You could get one of those kanji simbols tattooed, meaning life, or love, or the reason you quitted drugs.
good luck

HOW ABOUT A SET OF PRAYING HANDS?
AFTER ALL, GOD WAS THERE FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END, AND HE IS WHO YOU HAVE TO THANK FOR BEATING THAT AWFUL ADDICTION AND MAKING YOU A BETTER PERSON.
IT WOULD BE LIKE AN EVERLASTING PRAYER TO KEEP YOU CLEAN.

Is there anything that helped you focus on your rehab? Religious faith, meditation, family… anything? Or was it just a matter of will & determination?
If no specific thing helped, there are a variety of possibilities based on strength, confidence, persistence & such. It’s kind of hard to suggest a specific one without knowing you & your situation, but maybe you can start there?
Once you get that far, or perhaps even before, a good artist can help you put thoughts into pictures. Any artist worthy of the name can sketch out some ideas fairly quickly.

Do some searching and see
if any thing hits your eye.
Then go to see a good artist.

I have a demon on my back for similar reasons. A good friend of mine got an imp/demon on his rib cage to remind him of his addiction. (The idea behind both is that we’re past the addiction, but it’s always there, out of sight. I got mine on my back to show that I’ve put it behind me).
We went for the darker side, but you could also get a symbol of hope for your addiction free life, something positive to remind you that you were strong enough to beat it!
Good for you for beating your addiction!

my friends dad was in the same boat. he was addicted to vicodin and he got clean for a year and wanted something to help him remember to stay clean so he got a tattoo.
on his back he got praying hands and clouds behind them and above that there was a bottle of pills falling down into the hands. under it he had a saying about strenght or something.
good luck with the recovery.

A demon, or an eye if you’re religious (symbolizing being watched) and the date that you left rehab.
