  1. deff. rehab..
you won’t kick it without help buddy,
    support groups always help though!
try that if you’d like, maybe therapy?
    hope you get better!

  2. Go to a wellness spa there you will learn more natural ways to manage pain.

  3. Although, genuinely, rehab is probably your best bet – maybe it would be easier to give yourself a good support system.

Drop the ‘toxic’ friends that encourage the use – ask your doctor to be switched to a non-narcotic pain med, see a chronic pain management doctor, and attend NA meetings (they are offered at all hours of the day – at various location) – it would be good to give yourself a good safety net.

  4. You will never be able to function normally until you take care of your addiction, and the only way to take care of an addiction to drugs (even prescribed ones) is to go through rehab. Sorry that you are in the situation- maybe you could sue the doctor for feeding your need, but you need to take care of this now- everything else can wait.

  5. theres this place called “choices” and its kind of like rehab except more mellow.. you live there and go to school there and basically live a normal life, only inside with other people who are at risk. its not really bad, much better than actual rehab. if you dont have one near you you could probably find something like it.
if not, then cold turkey prob isnt the best thing, but it might be your only other option. either way you should really start talking to someone.

  6. Rehab can be fun. If you’re not willing, there are alternatives like Narcotics Anonymous, but you may need to re-think your priorities. Quitting opiates is in no way an easy task.

Talk to the doctor who’s prescribing them if you’re serious. I have a friend with a very, very serious oxy addiction having success with Suboxone.

  7. That depends very much on the amount you’re doing. By the sound of it you’re probably taking a large amount if you’ve moved to other delivery methods.

Also, you should probably be aware that most oxycodone has paracetamol (Tylenol) in the capsule/tablet/whatever with it and this more than the oxycodone can severely damage your liver in larger doses and cause damage over time in even smaller doses. So, beyond narcotic addiction, you should be aware that you’re likely killing your liver. So, regardless of whether oxycodone allows you to function, you’re still doing massive harm to yourself.

If you are heavily addicted, I would recommend speaking to a doctor or counselor. Both are safe to talk as they are required to keep anything you tell them confidential (with a couple of exceptions that have nothing to do with you such as child abuse). You lose nothing by speaking with someone actually qualified to help you deal with these problems.

  8. Dude, you’re 18 you’re supposed to do drugs who cares what you do just have fun. If its affected your life stop eating the pills man. You cant stop unless You want to. Methadone is easy to get a hold of take it if you can untill you feel you dont need it anymore. there are also natural ways to get over it from a pharmacological point of view. Salvia Divinorem works on the Kappa Opiod receptors if you grind up the foliage or get some extract eat some or you can even smoke it if you like once a day then once a week. Who cares if you like to get fucked up every one does it.
