  1. Illegal drugs? I bet alot of drug addicts may have actualy started out with alcohol, a few beers at a party or whatever. I wonder why they didn’t include that with thier little gateway topic. I know plenty of people who have destroyed thier life with alcohol. Some people seem to even use illegal drugs to deal with thier alcohol problem. I wonder how many **** comments I’ll get for this comment about alcohol… People love thier alcohol.

  2. I found the CURE for addiction and I have proof for this claim. Click on my name and witness Powerful Stories of Freedom. I personally know and have witnessed over 100 addicts who have found True and Lasting FREEDOM after being enslaved by their addictions for so long. I have been through many programs for my addiction, but have never found so much Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love than I have in the program I am in now. And the people I know who have given their stories are experiencing the same!

  4. @halcyon0830 They will “legalize it” only when they can regulate it and make money like they do in my state.

It will never just be allowed to grow freely, until we get the people in government, OUT. ALL OF THEM!

    PEACE

  6. @MrTruthseeker69 You don’t know what you’re talking about. I smoked a shitload of dope for years. Have you ever seen a brain scan of someone who’s smoked alot of pot? Pot effects your short term memory. Period. It effects you’re ability to learn in school. It can effect you’re cognitive abliity {if you have any.} For a teenager it can effect your motivation and ambition. I did drugs for 15 yrs and was a counselor for 15 yrs. Marijuana is NOT harmless and it can be a gateway drug.

  7. Oh please. When I was a kid back in the late 60′s there WAS alot of uncertainty about drugs. No one knew coke could be addictive {really addictive if smoked} until the mid 70′s. At that time there were alot of unknowns but not now. To say “kids don’t know what’s what” now is complete BS. There is so much information on drugs that it is almost overkill. Don’t give me this BS that a 16 year old kid today doesn’t know the dangers of heroin. They know. Same as in my day. They want to be cool. Bingo.

  10. she is hooked to heroin, not pot. This is propaganda. Where is all this heroin? And where is it coming from before we jump to conclusions about marijuana having anything to do with this. Show me the heroin. And where it comes from, then write your story. This is half *** news.

  13. If drugs had been legalized, controlled and regulated by the government, none of this would have happened. There would have been no black market distribution system, no drug-related crimes, no unintentional overdoses, no degradation of addicts and strict laws prohibiting sale of drugs to minors. It would have completely cut out the black market, eliminating violent crimes like gang wars over drugs. It would have saved the government over 50 Billion dollars per year in drug enforcement costs.

  16. This is due to the fall of the Taliban in Afghan. The Taliban was against the growing of poppies. Since our invasion poppy growing has taken off, and now the drug is turning up in america. Yes, we have done great things.

  17. Being an Adult for Dummies

    1. The 21st century is stressful. 2. Human beings have a tendency to develop addictions. 3. Some substances cause addictions very quickly.

Therefore, there are some things that simply should not be tried.

    The single best example: Heroin.

There are more interesting ways to commit ******* than that. And ******* itself is dumb.

    Get addicted . . .

    to something healthy.

    Anything.

  18. I know we’re pretty uninformed about a lot of things.

You would think our children would at least be well-informed about ILLEGAL NARCOTICS!!! It’s embarrassing!

We’ve got to start by banning video games. The kids don’t seem to know anything about anything.

Voluntarily illiterate. They *can* read. They just *choose* not to.

    Idiots!

  19. I think they pointed it out well that drugs are only “gateways” when they are treated the same as harder drugs. If you tell someone marijuana will kill them, and they try it and don’t die… they won’t believe you when you tell them heroin will kill them.

If marijuana was treated the same as tobacco or alcohol, we’d save money, lives, and strengthen our society.

  20. Hi millgiass.

I gave you a thumbs up. Then I took some time to to leave a comment of my own about the video.

After refreshing the page my thumbs up vote disappeared.

Have you ever experienced that here on YouTube?

  21. It’s about time some reporting gate keepers of the media wised up and realized that lying to people only results in making everything they say unbelievable.

When will government figure that out?
